Software & Product Engineering

Service 04 / 10

Software development built for launch day and every release after it

We design, build, test and maintain web platforms, mobile apps and software products, and we treat quality and accessibility as engineering work rather than a final checklist.

What you can expect

  • Working software demonstrated every sprint
  • Automated tests running in the pipeline
  • Accessibility checked before release
  • Code, documentation and credentials handed over in full

Overview

Web, mobile and product engineering from MVP to scale, with UX, quality engineering and accessibility built in.

Every sprint ends with working software and a demo. Tests run in the pipeline, not in a spreadsheet, and accessibility is checked before a feature is called done.

When a product matures, we can take over sustenance of older versions so your core team can stay focused on what comes next.

Our team works from Pune. We can work onsite in and around the city, and remotely for organizations across India and abroad.

Capabilities

What our software and product engineering team does

  1. 01

    Product engineering

From the first architecture decision to a product that scales.

    • Architecture and technology selection
    • MVP and prototype builds
    • Feature development in agile sprints
    • Product modernization and re-platforming
  2. 02

    Web and mobile applications

Fast, secure applications on proven stacks.

    • React, Next.js, Angular and Vue front ends
    • Node.js, Java, .NET, Python and Go back ends
    • Native iOS and Android, Flutter and React Native
    • Progressive web apps
  3. 03

    UX and UI design

Interfaces designed around real tasks and real users.

    • User research and journey mapping
    • Information architecture and wireframes
    • Design systems
    • Usability testing
  4. 04

    Quality engineering

Automated checks that catch problems before your users do.

    • Test strategy and automation frameworks
    • Functional, regression, API and performance testing
    • Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium and JMeter
    • Testing inside CI/CD pipelines
  5. 05

    Accessibility

Products that work for people using assistive technology.

    • WCAG 2.2 AA audits
    • Screen reader and keyboard testing
    • Remediation support for developers
    • Accessibility conformance reports (VPAT)
  6. 06

    Sustenance engineering

Care for mature and legacy products.

    • Maintenance of older product lines
    • Bug fixing and performance tuning
    • Technology and security upgrades
    • Documentation and release support

Approach

How the work runs, step by step

Each step ends with something you can review, so decisions are made on evidence rather than status updates.
  1. Step 01

    Discover

Goals, users, constraints and the riskiest assumptions.

    You get Product brief

  2. Step 02

    Design

    Flows, prototypes and architecture.

    You get Clickable prototype

  3. Step 03

    Build

Two-week sprints with a demo at the end of each.

    You get Working software

  4. Step 04

    Test

Automated and exploratory testing, including accessibility.

    You get Test reports

  5. Step 05

    Release

Staged rollouts with monitoring and rollback.

    You get Release notes

  6. Step 06

    Evolve

    Analytics-informed improvements and maintenance.

    You get Roadmap updates

Questions

Software & Product Engineering: frequently asked questions

Can you build an MVP quickly?

Yes. We agree the smallest feature set that tests your riskiest assumption, design it with you and build it in short sprints, with a demo at the end of each one.

Who owns the code you write?

You do, once it is paid for. Under our standard contract terms, and unless your contract says otherwise, intellectual property in deliverables created for you transfers to you on payment, and we hand over repositories, infrastructure access and documentation. Tools and know-how we had before the engagement stay ours, and you receive a license to use them as part of the deliverables.

Do you test for accessibility?

Yes. We test against WCAG 2.2 AA with automated tools plus manual keyboard and screen reader checks, and we fix issues within the sprint rather than after launch.

Can you take over an existing codebase?

Yes. We begin with a code and architecture review, set up the build and test pipeline, and then agree a plan for fixes and new features.
